WASHINGTON — MASTER ESTHETICIAN

Washington offers an advanced licensing pathway requiring 450 additional hours beyond its standard esthetics education. Training includes medium-depth chemical peels, advanced facial massage, lymphatic drainage, and laser and light-based technologies. Certain medical devices require appropriate medical supervision.

NEVADA — ADVANCED ESTHETICIAN

Nevada allows licensed estheticians to pursue an advanced credential with 300 additional training hours. Its expanded scope includes microneedling, medium-depth chemical peels, and certain nonablative procedures, with defined treatment and supervision requirements.

OREGON — CERTIFIED ADVANCED ESTHETICIAN

Oregon has established a specialized 500-hour training program for advanced nonablative esthetics, including certain skin-rejuvenation and hair-reduction procedures. Certification also requires an examination and a collaborative agreement with a licensed healthcare professional.
